It's the summer of 2011 and a producer a The Mill watches a short fantasy film I made as a student. Little did I know that this chance viewing would lead to my signing for The Mill as a commercials director at only 22 years of age. 14 years of crafting magical CGI worlds and animated 3D characters for Cannes Lions award winning campaigns with brands such as Cartier, BMW, Ford, Google and Energizer followed.
Meanwhile my magical realism short films and the CGI crafted fantasy worlds of my adverts caught the attention of TV producers, leading to myself directing big budget fantasy TV shows for HBO, Netflix and Apple.
In 2019 my gothic fairy tale debut feature film Gwen premiered at TIFF and won two Welsh BAFTA's. Selected by critic Mark Kermode as his pic of the week upon its theatrical realise.
I'm currently developing various film and long form projects for streamers, broadcasters and studio's. In addition to directing TV and commercials.
